On this Guru Purnima, ask the question if you are truly honoring the lineages and teachings of Yoga. And find a path to continue improving your skills while broadening your experience through our 300 hour Yoga Teacher Mentoring Program.
Three different meeting times are for your convenience--attending one is enough :) These are free to attend and open to anyone; you don't have to have prior experience as a yoga instructor or have completed a 200 hour YTT.
These sessions are for information sharing, asking questions, finding out about costs and financial support, as well as creating a commitment if it is right for you!
Here are some details about this program:
The 300 hour Yoga Sadhaka Mentoring Program is a way to continue to broaden your skills as well as continue to experience and learn about the many paths of yoga including Hatha, Raja, Jnana, Karma, Mantra/Bhakti, and Tantra. We’ll go deep into the biomechanics of asana to understand both the physiological impact of joint kinematics as well as the transmission of prana. You’ll be given insight into yoga therapy through Ayurveda, have the opportunity to specialize in adaptive, restorative, or prenatal yoga, and learn the deep philosophies of yoga including Sankhya, Shakti, and Shaivism.
Yoga is the Science of Self-realization with the ultimate goal of Liberation. As you go further into your studies you will discover your teaching interests, strengths, and the dharmic path that yoga holds for you. You’ll become a better teacher and your experience and knowledge will open novel paths for instruction beyond asana—or at least to be more refined and expansive in applying asana to a practice. Or maybe you will find that you prefer to keep your practice for yourself, but now your sadhana has a broader and more complete foundation.
I invite you to explore a deeper path, find direction in your studies and practices, and appreciate the many ways we can rise together in awareness, energy, and devotion to the wisdom of Yoga.
This is a 300 hour program with some variability in how the total hours are completed. Completed reading and writing assignments, commitment to practice, and a finalized journal of experience throughout the program will result in a Certification of Completion.
