Introduction to Ayurveda

Ayurveda is the sister science to Yoga. People seeking Yoga for health reasons should understand this ancient wisdom tradition to better apply the science of metabolic balance, energy flow, and longevity to both their practices on the mat as well as their lifestyle.

While some people are vaguely familiar with the concepts of Doshas, that is just a tip of the value of understanding Ayurveda. This introduction looks at the history from a perspective of masculine and feminine influences, introduces the idea of the dhatus, and applies it to the latest Western science of fascia.

This FREE introduction will give you insight into our full immersion course, The Path To Transformation, which is a 12-week exploration of how Ayurveda applies to YOU particularly. The immersion course is limited and individualized. Early bird registration is open until August 1st, so this free class is a great way to find out if you are ready to further invest in your health.

About the facilitator: Sandy Parker has a BS in Health Education with over 40 years of teaching the foundations of wellness to people of all ages. A life-long learner, she has completed several courses and certifications in Ayurvedic Lifestyle certifications through globally recognized teachers including Dr. Robert Svoboda, Dr. Claudia Welch, and Dr. David Frawley. Her immersion course, The Path To Transformation is offered annually.
