To a person, everyone I talked to after The Blue Olives came to Slowpoke was, "When are you going to get them back?" They've got the groove, they've got the horns, they've got the Hammond, and yeah, they've got the voice. They'll get you shaking in your seat, itching to dance until you can't help yourself, and singing the songs all the way home. This is the music you've been waiting for and we're so thrilled to bring it to you.
This is a band with over 3500 shows under their belt, and it shows. These are musicians that know each other inside and out, so when they groove, they work together as one. Something you can just feel the minute they start playing. How they all fit on that stage is a mystery, but don't worry, we'll squeeze them in. So come on down for a night of the real thing!
Regular artists at House of Blues- Chicago, The Blue Olives (based out of Madison, WI) have performed over 3500 shows nationally. Once described as "tight enough to be professional. yet loose enough to be really fun..." we feature a hornline, killer vocal harmonies, searing guitar and funky rhythm section. Known as one of the fiercest jam bands around with a huge repertoire, we easily go from playing formal corporate events to large venue rock concert atmospheres.
