Summer Service - Living Into Our Values

Audrey McCann joins us to reflect on our individual and shared values this Fourth of July weekend. All are welcome!

Audrey McCann (she/her) is a third-year
Unitarian Universalist seminarian at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities. She’s a lifelong Texan who moved to the Twin Cities last year with her partner and pets. She is the Director of Children and Family Ministries at a small Unitarian Universalist fellowship south of Minneapolis and the communications coordinator for Unitarian Universalist Ministry for Earth, a faith-based nonprofit focused on climate justice for all.

It is easy to feel isolated and divided in our current political climate. Living into our values can help us stay grounded in who we are and what matters most to us, even when everything around us seems to be shifting or drifting. We’ll reflect—collectively and individually—on what our values are, what it means to live them out, and how people of faith have historically made a difference in the midst of violence by following their conscience.
