Do you find it challenging to perform in front of an audience? This theatre and dance fusion class will teach you tools and techniques to develop your confidence onstage and bring new elements to your performances.The first half of class will work through theatrical exercises that encourage internal and external awareness, expression, and communication. Exploring different movement styles and playing with intention.The second half of class will give students a chance to implement their new skills by learning basic dance moves from a variety of styles, then practicing a short combo.This workshop is aimed at building confidence and joyful vibes for complete beginners, so no previous dance experience is needed!
All bodies, ages (14+), genders, and backgrounds always welcome at Coil.
