Expand your journey into the world of soap crafting with our immersive Hot Process Soap Making Workshop. This interactive session is designed to empower participants with the skills and knowledge to master the hot process soap-making technique. Attendees will explore the unique characteristics of hot process soap, learning how to harness heat to accelerate saponification and create distinctive, rustic bars. Guided by experienced artisans, participants will engage in each step of the process, from selecting ingredients like oils and fragrances to understanding the transformative impact of heat on soap formulation. Join us for a dynamic workshop that not only demystifies hot process soap making but also allows you to craft your own personalized, high-quality soaps with confidence. Students will go home with their creations and a new silicone soap mold on the night of class. All supplies are included.
Prerequisites & Details
Experience Required: THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER SOAP CLASS. Prior soap making experience is REQUIRED. This workshop requires you to be fully comfortable and confident working with lye and managing trace.
Safety: Because we work with caustic materials, this workshop is strictly for adults.
Included: All professional-grade materials, safety gear, and specialized tools.

The Fine Print
Attendance & Safety: Due to insurance regulations, we cannot accommodate minors in this workshop. Only paid participants are allowed in the shop space.
Refunds: Workshop fees are non-refundable.
Rescheduling: You may reschedule ONCE at no cost. Further changes incur a $25 fee. We require 48 hours' notice for any rescheduling.
No-Shows: Failure to attend or notify us of a change, results in the forfeiture of your fee.
Maker's Apothecary will do everything possible to maintain the schedule, but if a workshop must be moved, we will notify you using the contact info provided at registration.
