* July 4th Boat Parade *
We are encouraging lake residents to decorate their boats, pontoons, and jet skis for the July 4th parade. This is a great family event. Prizes will be given to category winners and this year we have a prize for every youth that is in the parade.
The Lake Association will be providing bags of candy for those that are watching the parade. Some residents had expressed concerns with bags of candy getting into the lake. We have listened to their concerns and will be using jet skis to get closer to the docks to distribute the candy. We are hoping this resolves the concerns about bags left in the water. It is also a good idea this year because of the high water levels of the lake and for safety reasons.
If we have rain on the 4th that prevents us from holding the parade, we will try to reschedule it for another time during the 4th of July weekend. If this happens, we will be posting the new time and date on facebook and send out an email to those residents who have provided their email address.

Candy bags: Handed out by volunteers on jet skis during the parade Awards: Most Creative, Most Family-Friendly, Most Patriotic, and Youth Float (done by kids - please see **Important Notice** below)
