Fire Truck Festival 2025

Join us for the hottest event of the year! You’ll get to meet firefighters from across the state, get a close-up look at the equipment they use, vote for your favorite fire truck, and have a fun family day at the museum. During your visit, enjoy activities and train rides throughout the day. At the end of the festival, watch the parade which begins at 3:30 p.m.

Activities to Include:

Lil’ Firefighter Costume Contest – 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Jaws of Life Demonstration – 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Charlotte Fire Department Safety Education Team
Storytime with Maria Bostian – 10:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
Discovery map for kids
Model layouts
Awards – 3 p.m.
Fire Truck Parade – 3:30 p.m.
