Spencer Hospital is excited to host a new event, “Bump to Baby: Journey to Motherhood & Beyond,” created for expecting moms, new moms, seasoned moms, and anyone planning for the future. Join us on Saturday, August 16 from 9 to 11 AM for a free, come-and-go event focused on your motherhood journey.
From 9 to 10:30 AM, attendees are invited to visit informational booths and take guided tours of our Birth Center. At 10:30 AM, guest speaker Dr. Amy Jochims, Family Medicine Physician with Avera Medical Group Spencer, will offer valuable insights relevant to moms at every stage. Childcare will be available during the event, allowing you to participate fully and comfortably.
You'll have the opportunity to learn about the many services and resources available at Spencer Hospital and the Birth Center. Topics covered include childbirth education, car seat safety, lactation consulting, pelvic floor and physical therapy, family planning and infertility support, postpartum depression resources, gestational diabetes education, VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) information, pain management options, and more.
