Bio for Lyndsay:An uncommon artist
Speaking truths with sights. sounds and words
Lindsey Audra is an uncommon person, an uncommon artist and a woman with something to say about it all. From Ames, Iowa, her adult adventures have taken her to Madison, Wisconsin, Santa Cruz, California, around the world and back to Ames where she shares her Third Space with artists and musicians and a coffee shop.
Lyndsay Audra speaks her truths in art, poems and action. Her songs are dramatic, and call on ghosts from Gershwin to Billie Holiday and tangle waltz dance with Ani DeFranco, Joan Baez, john Waters and Leonard Cohen. Her voice has been compared to Neko Case, Grace Slick and Natalie Merchant and her stage banter is engaging, honest and funny.
Currently, Lyndsay Audra spends her time managing her venue, creating her visual art, writing poetry and performing music through her solo shows and performing every full moon with her Psychadelic Folk Rock Art band Wiitch Tiit.
Bio for Todd: Since picking up the guitar at age 18, Todd Partridge has spent most of his adult life making his own music. First with the band Black Light Syndrome then Salamagundi, then with critically acclaimed King Of The Tramps for 5 albums and 10 years of shows in the U.S. and Europe. Most recently he has released two solo albums; the folk influenced "Autumn Never Knows" and the dirty blues record, "Desert Fox Blues".
Currently he is booking and touring in the midwestern U.S. with a new backing band; "The Whiskey Gospel" (Joe Mcguire- drums, James Nicholson- Guitar and Greg Bruna- Bass) - performing songs from Todd Partridge solo albums and King of the Tramps favorites.
