WORTH 200 WORKSHOP - Embroidery with Katie Smith

Embroidery sampler – all the stitches you need to get you started!

Katie Smith, a fashion graduate with a passion for hand embroidery and fabric manipulation will help us each to construct a small section of one of Worth’s designs.

As an experienced local teacher, Katie will guide us in the use of a range of embroidery stitches to suit every skill level, from beginner to advanced.
All participants will choose their own colourways and creativity to create their sampler. When all the sections are complete, they can then be stitched together to form a larger, complete piece of work inspired by Charles Frederick Worth and produced by the community, for display at the bicentennial weekend in October.

All supplies will be provided on the day.
