A bit more about our host Marien: "I started my Wine Career in South Africa in the late 1990’s, and it was purely by accident, as I was working as a garden designer and landscaper! In 2001 we decided to move to the UK where I furthered my career in the Wine industry, working for a Wine Merchant in London. Four Years later I ended up at Laithwaites Wine, managing 3 of their stores and being Trade Manager selling to businesses. With wine sales as my career, I’ve been fortunate to have studied at the Cape Wine Academy (Level 1 & 2 Certificate) and completed Level 1, 2 & 3 towards Diploma Level at the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET). Visiting many vineyards in different countries it is only a pleasure to share my experiences and passion for wine with likeminded people."
Our wine tastings are laid back, informal, and good fun. We welcome all calibre of wine lovers.

Doors open at 7pm. The event starts once everyone has arrived, or at 7:30pm, whichever comes first. The event is expected to run for 2 hours.
