Free Shred & Electronics Recycling Event

Free paper shredding & electronics recycling event. Open to all Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce members & small businesses in and around the city of Southport.

WHAT TO RECYCLE:

Up to 5 letter file boxes of dry, clean paper
Checks
Envelopes
Fax paper
File Folders
Cards or Business cards
Magazines
Paper Clips & Staples are ok!

UNACCEPTABLE shred items include:

Wet or Damp paper
Plastic or Plastic Bags
Styrofoam
Batteries of any type
Large metal objects
Cardboard
Food, Glass, Cans, etc
Ink Cartridges or Toner
Nuts & Bolts
Syringes of any kind
Office Supplies, Hole punchers, or Staple removers!

Electronics are limited to desktops, laptops, tablets, external hard drives, sd cards or any hard drive which contains sensitive data. Their power cords are also accepted!
