DEEP DIVE INTO HISTORY: An Act of Remembrance

While Memorial Day may be seen as the kickoff of the summer season, it’s meaning runs far deeper. Join us as we dive into the history surrounding this uniquely American holiday.

This event is part of the museum’s Deep Dive Into History series, programs designed to give visitors a deeper understanding of our shared past through costumed interpretation. Each Deep Dive delves into a specific theme in Lower Cape Fear and maritime history. Programs run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and visitors can interact one-on-one with the presenter at any time during the program.
