COOPERS BLUES FEST 2025 feat Mike Brookfield and Gary Cain

We've assembled some of the best blues bands around for an amazing 3 day event all FREE ENTRY

Starting from Friday 11th July 2025

6pm Coopers House Blues Band will open the show playing some classic songs to get us all in the mood.

9pm Gary Cain Trio -

Gary Cain is a Canadian-born, Austin Texas-based blues rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter known for his electrifying, genre-bending style. Influenced by legends like Albert King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Jimi Hendrix, Cain honed his virtuosic guitar skills through marathon practice sessions as a youth. His albums, including Twangadelic Bluesophunk (2017), Next Stop (2022), and Outside The Lines (2024), showcase his explosive guitar work and socially conscious lyrics. A semi-finalist in the 2018 International Blues Challenge and fourth-place finisher in Lee Ritenour’s Six String Theory competition, Cain has performed globally, opening for acts like George Thorogood

Saturday 12th July

Doors open at 1pm

2pm The Wayne Carrick band featuring some guest players. Wayne is very well known on the Blues circuit playing classics from Clapton to BB King

6pm The Hurricane Blues Band, classic lively authentic blues with keys, Sax and Harmonica these guys live and breath this stuff! always an amazing set with great vocals.

9pm Mike Brookfield

Mike Brookfield originally from Southport UK, is a Dublin-based blues rock guitarist, songwriter, and music educator renowned for his virtuosic playing and emotive storytelling. Drawing inspiration from icons like Eric Clapton, Rory Gallagher, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, Brookfield has released five critically acclaimed albums, including Love Breaks the Fall (2015) and Built to Last (2022). His music blends cinematic imagery with modern blues rock, earning praise for its dynamic guitar work and lyrical depth. A Trinity College Dublin graduate with a first-class M.Phil., Brookfield also teaches guitar and performs with his band, delivering authentic, high-energy shows across Ireland.

Sunday 13th July

2pm Coopers House Jazz Band Jazz inspired Blues with a special set specifically curated for the Blues Fest

6.30pm Blues Fest Jam Night Jam with our house band or bring your own band all welcome at this mega night of impromtu blues, you never know who might turn up.
