A collaboration between The Broken Spine and Sefton Pride , this is more than a book launch—it’s a literary uprising. Two new publications. One night. No apologies.
What’s happening:
-� Double launch of Rainbows in the Rough by Shaun Ponsonby and out.skirts , an LGBTQIA+ anthology edited by Perry Gasteiger & Romina Ramos
-� Live readings from Perry, Romina, and poet Jen Corcoran—raw, real, and unfiltered
-� Q&A with Shaun Ponsonby exploring the queer icons and lived experience behind his words
-� Books that demand to be heard—honest, urgent, and unashamed
-� A celebration of queer voices, grassroots culture, and literary resistance
-� Hosted by Alan Parry (he’ll try to behave)
� Weds 25 June | � 7:30PM till late | � The Engine Room, Southport � Pay what you want – donations will go to The Proud Trust .
