Summer Reading Backyard Petting Zoo

Rustin & Family Park (In front of Town Hall)


Join us for a Summer Reading Backyard Petting Zoo at Family & Rustin Park! The petting zoo will have goats, sheep, chickens, roosters, rabbits, and a miniature horse. Kids can also try their roping skills with Buford the Roping Dummy and, if successful, get to “autograph” Tex, the saddled (stationary) pretend barrel horse. Plus, there is a Critter Station that will feature a chinchilla, a baby African tortoise, a 7-foot boa, and more. Enjoy great tunes, take part in an outdoor scavenger hunt, and dive into Southlake Library’s summer reading fun! This is one event you won’t want to miss!

This program is completely free and requires no registration!
