Historical Fiction Book Club: Stolen Beauty

Inspired by our Summer Reading 2025 theme, "Color Our World," our historical fiction book club will discuss Laurie Lico Albanese's Stolen Beauty, a tale based on the true story behind the creation and near destruction of Gustav Klimt's most remarkable paintings, tracing the experiences of one of his lovers in 1900 Vienna, whose experiences with anti-Semitism inspire the survival of her niece when the Nazis invade Austria decades later.

Copies of Stolen Beauty are available in large and small print at the Circulation Desk on the ground floor. Digital copies are available through the Libby app with your Southington library card.

This book club meets face-to-face in the library's program space and will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.
