Rev. Walker is a lover of God and His Word. Praise and Worship is her passion. She is the Founding Pastor of Realistic Ministries Church in Lincoln Park, MI. She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church for over 40years where she received most of her Christian training; and was licensed to preach the Gospel, under the leadership of Rev., Dr. Joseph B. Barlow and after his passing, was ordained by Rev.Damon L. Pierson. She received a second license to preach the Gospel at Triumph Church, under the leadership of Senior Pastor, Rev. Solomon Kinloch. She is an ordained UAW Chaplain: Ordained by Alpha Recovery 12-Step Program, Bucyrus Ohio; CEO/Rev. Margie Maddox Senior Chaplain.

Rev. Walker is now serving on several boards which includes: International Christian Education Association, Downriver Church Women United, Bearing Fruit Inc., Lincoln Park Ministerial Alliance, and Downriver International Ministerial Alliance.

Rev. Walker is now serving as a Retiree Chaplain Liaison under the leadership of Anthony Richard, President of UAW Local 600.

Rev. Walker is a member of the UAW Region 1A Chaplaincy Council in good standing; a council whose mission is “Caring in the Work Place.” She is a founding member of the UAW Local 600 Bereavement Group which provides support for grieving persons. She was the first black President of the Downriver Church Women United Group where is still an active member.

Rev Walker is an associated writer for “He Reigns Gospel Magazine” in Kalamazoo, MI. The magazine has given her the opportunity to write many inspirational stories inspiring its many readers. Rev. Walker is co-author of five books entitled; 1)“It’s Possible–Living beyond Limitations,” 2) “Dream Again, Awakening the Dreamer inside of you,” 3) “Shine–Hidden No More,” 4) “Crystal Clear; Sisters walking in purpose with Clarity, Focus and Faith” and Celebrating Life Lessons from Our Beloved Mothers all with (Andrea Dudley a visionary Publisher.

Rev. Walker has a Bachelor Degree in Religious Studies fromHeritage College and Seminary in Ontario Canada. She graduated from American Institute for Paralegal Studies in 1990 while working at a Legal Aid Law Office in Detroit. Rev.Walker received an Associate Degree in Business from Wayne County Community College in May 2001.

Rev. Walker has been married to Karlos Walker for 23 years. Together they have 4 adult children and 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. God has blessed her to tunnel though many trials and tribulations and she wants to help others by showing them how God can bring you through anything. Her spiritual mission is to always be a person of integrity; to be obedient unto God, to love people and to make disciples as we were commissioned to do in Matthew 28:19-20.


REV. DR. CURTIS C. WILLIAMS is a native Detroiter and the product of a single parent family. He is an example of what hard work and determination can accomplish.

Pastor Williams began his service in the Ministry 50 years ago. Rev. Williams served as Pastor of Aijalon Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan for 25 years until retirement. He has had the honor of preaching across the nation and in foreign countries.

Rev. Williams served the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc. for ten years as Vice-Chair of the Concession Department; ten years as Chair, Urban Development Committee of the Detroit Council of Baptist Pastors and Vicinity; and a decade as President of the Michigan District Congress of Christian Education.

In addition to obtaining a Master of Arts Degree in Pastoral Ministry, Rev. Williams received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from the Tennessee School of Religion. He is the recipient of over 300 Awards, Certificates and Resolutions from international, national and local governments.

Rev. Williams was the first African American male to receive the Marygrove College Distinguished Alumni Award. Pastor Williams served as a Chaplain with the Detroit Police Department for 33 years and currently serves as a Chaplain for the County of Wayne Sheriff’s Department. Rev. Williams has served on various Boards and non-profits throughout the Country. Currently, he serves on the Board of the Southeastern Better Business Bureau and as a member of the City of Detroit’s Civil Service Commission. He served as an elected Precinct Delegate and Chair of the 14th Congressional Democratic District Clergy for ten years. In 2018, Rev. Williams was a recipient of the Michigan Chronicle’s “Men of Excellence” award in recognition of African-American leaders in Southeast Michigan.

During the past 35 1/2 years, Rev. Williams has served the community as Proprietor and C.E.O. of Trinity Chapel Funeral Home, Inc. In 2016, the business expanded to include two additional locations; Trinity Chapel - Southwest and Stinson Funeral Home Detroit, Inc. where he also serves as Proprietor and C.E.O. Pastor Curtis C. Williams and Lady Joyce D. Williams are the parents of three adult children.

Rev. Williams life is lived based upon his personal belief in the Scripture, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he…”. (Proverbs 23:7 KJV)



Jeannetta Warfield is a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life reflects over four decades of faith and service at Oakland Avenue Missionary Baptist Church. A retired Ford Motor Company employee, she has faithfully served as a Christian Education instructor, facilitator, and coordinator of ministries, including Singles on a Mission for Christ, Christian Education Week, community outreach, and the children’s church she helped organize more than 30 years ago.

Beyond her home church, Jeannetta has shared her gifts as a certified biblical counselor, instructor, and workshop facilitator across Metro Detroit and beyond. She has worked with organizations including The Angel House and the Boys and Girls Bible Club, and served as a staff member of New Hope Baptist Church’s Biblical Counseling Ministry. Known for her servant’s heart, Jeannetta continues to inspire others through teaching, counseling, and speaking.

Her favorite scriptures, Micah 6:8 and Jeremiah 29:11, reflect her commitment to walking humbly with God and encouraging others to live with hope and purpose.


TOPIC: The Great Commission/From Membership to Discipleship

Reverend Everett Thomas - baptized born again believer, ordained Minister for over 28 years. He served as 1st Assistant Minister under the late Pastor Joseph B. Barlow, Jr. at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Ecorse, Michigan. He is past Senior Evangelist for Calvary District Association, past Young Adult Director, past 3rd Assistant Dean of Calvary District Congress of Christian Education, past President, and current member of D.I.M.A (Downriver Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance).

Everett is a Certified Biblical Counselor and is experienced in the Ministry of preaching and teaching. He has officiated Sunday Worship Service for the tenants at the Across the Park apartment complex in Detroit, Michigan, where he provided an opportunity to worship God and grow spiritually. His belief that iron sharpens iron, led him to organize a weekly Men’s Fellowship Breakfast.

He is committed to God and community. Rev. Thomas is currently serving as President of Lincoln Park Rotary and is a Board member of the Downriver YMCA. He is also the Executive Director of the International Christian Education Association.

Rev. Thomas served as Senior Minister at Mercy House Church in Ecorse, Michigan, where he not only provided for the spiritual needs of the congregation, but also provided monthly free bag lunch and prayer for the community.

His Pastorate transitioned from Mercy House Church to Senior Minister of First Baptist Church of Lincoln Park Michigan, where he served for a year and a half. Rev. Thomas is also the Founder and President of Jehovah Jireh Ministries. This ministry provides for the needs of people and has sponsored coffee houses, concerts, seminars and assisted the elderly.

He resides in Detroit Michigan with his wife Cheryl and has been married for 31 years.

His mission is to be used of God to transform lives in spirit, soul, and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
