Is it possible to travel through time into the distant future, or the ancient past? What would happen if you fell into a black hole? Do wormholes really exist? Why can't we travel faster than the speed of light? In this talk, we will discuss the real science of time travel, touching on; black holes (and their spaghettifying effects), lightspeed travel, and the possibility of exploring the cosmos via wormholes.
This talk is accessible for ages 10+. Older children and adults will enjoy this talk, children younger than 10 are welcome, but some may struggle with understanding the content.
Prebooking is essential. Please note that tickets are per person attending the talk. Every attendee will need a ticket.
Robert Clemenson is a theoretical physics researcher and lecturer based at the University of Sussex and Royal Holloway, University of London. His research focusses on models of the Universe involving extra spatial dimensions, and dark matter.
