National Honor Guard Academy

The City of Southaven Fire & Police Departments are hosting the National Honor Guard Academy August 10-15, 2025

The course is designed to provide police, fire, EMS and other public safety organizations with the basics to develop your honor guard and color guard units. A balance of informative classroom presentations and hands-on repetition of practical skills highlight the intense training format.

Lodging and meal costs are not included in the per student tuition. The host is working to secure a block rate at a local hotel and additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
