Explore & Discover Day

Come and join us to discover more about your local nature reserve with the Friends of Peartree Green! We’ll be near the play area off Peartree Avenue from 10 am to 4pm – look out for our gazebo. Drop by any time to talk to us about the nature reserve, or one of our walks. Find out about the history, the wildlife and how we look after the nature reserve. We’ll have our amazing 3D model of the Green on display too!

Families and accompanied children are very welcome. And it’s all FREE!

We’re holding this event as part of the Urban Wild festival organised by Southampton National Park City to celebrate our city’s green places.

Family Wildlife Walks: 10.30 am and 2 pm.

Join a gentle guided walk to explore the reserve and discover the wildlife that calls it home. Each walk lasts around 90 minutes. We recommend stout footwear as paths are uneven in places.

Parking is limited in the area, so please car share, use public transport or walk/cycle if you can. We have three cycle racks near the play area. For directions, see our website: www.friendsofpeartreegreen.org.uk
