D.R.I. (Dirty Rotten Imbeciles) is an American crossover thrash band that formed in Houston, Texas, in 1982. The band, founded by guitarist Spike Cassidy and vocalist Kurt Brecht, is considered a pioneer of the crossover thrash genre, which fuses hardcore punk and thrash metal. They are known for their aggressive sound and high-energy performances.
