Point Mouillee

This is one of our most popular field trips. It is also one of the few ways you can go on the dikes at Point Mouillee in an automobile. If you are interested register early. Preregistration is required.

Pointe Mouillee SGA is always a popular location in late summer. We'll have the opportunity to take a few vehicles (4 max) and drive along the dikes into the SGA to look for migrating shorebirds among other species.

Space is limited, please register to reserve your spot (contact Kayla Niner). First priority will go to Oakland Bird Alliance members until 2 weeks before the event when the remaining spots will be open for anyone to reserve.

We will meet in the parking lot on Sigler Road east of Jefferson/US Turnpike Rd (42.038582, - 83.212774).

The trip will start sharp at 8:00 AM, so plan to get there a little early.
