Svetlana and Bert met at a Brisbane poetry event in 2025, where they discovered their words flow to a similar cadence. Join Svet and Bert for a one-night-only evening of watery poetry and stories of travelling, journeys, discovery, and adventure.
Bert Spinks is a Tasmanian-based writer and performer who’ll be travelling to Queensland in August—which happens to be Red Room Poetry's Poetry Month!
Svetlana is a multi-disciplinary writer and poet based in Meanjin. Her award winning debut collection, If Movement Was a Language, is available now with Vagabond Press.
