Prof. Katherine Verdolini Abbott pioneered the application of perceptual-motor learning theory (much of it originating in the world of sports) into the world of voice training. Kittie will demonstrate how motor learning can impact singers, first via a teaching demonstration, followed by two lectures detailing the application of motor learning research. The afternoon will consist of a hands-on practical session where you can put into practice the key takeaways from the morning sessions, by teaching your fellow attendees.
