Pride Garden Party

Join us for an enchanted evening of cocktails and light fare in the gardens of Sarah Orne Jewett House while guests meet historic Maine author and LGBTQ icon Sarah Orne Jewett and her partner, Annie Fields, and a few of their inner circle. Marvel at a nineteenth-century entertainments, delight in live music, and engage with lawn games throughout the grounds. The first floor of the Sarah Orne Jewett House will be open for tours. Visitors are encouraged to wear their best creative garden party outfit. A partnership of Historic New England and NH Outright.

In the event of rain, the party will move indoors to the Visitor Center at the Sarah Orne Jewett House.
