Beginner Birding Hike at Platte River State Park

Celebrate Nebraska Bird Month and World Migratory Bird Day! Join us for a hike at beautiful Platte River State Park on Saturday, May 10 from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Meet at the Nature Center below Mallet Lodge.

Discover what it takes to be a birder and practice bird identification skills while hiking with a Naturalist on a wooded trail with hills and rugged terrain.

This event is free and open to the public. A valid state park vehicle permit is required for entry.
