WHAT'S THE SAFETY CHALLENGE?
It’s SURVIVAL MONTH at Catch the Wave, where we prep swimmers for real-life water emergencies! Forget perfect swimsuits – our students will be rocking everyday clothes, pajamas, or even their favorite superhero costumes! Why? Because in a real emergency, you’re not diving in with goggles and a floatie. 👕

Wear a swimsuit under your clothes – safety and style? Yes, please!
Rock your everyday gear – t-shirts, shorts, jeans, or capes – anything goes!
Bring a plastic bag for those soggy clothes – because we’re all about staying dry after the fun!
WHY IT MATTERS--DROWNING FACTS YOU NEED TO KNOW---
Backyard pools are a blast, but they can be risky without the right precautions. Here’s the tea:
Drowning is fast and silent – it can happen anywhere there’s water, especially with unsupervised kids.
23% of child drownings happen during family pool parties. 🎉😱
87% of drownings for kids aged 1–4 occur in home pools or hot tubs (yep, even at a friend’s house!).
Good news: A four-sided isolation fence around the pool cuts drowning risk by 83%!
