Hello there!
We are pleased to be announcing the second annual collaboration between the South Pasadena Eclectic Music Festival and the LA Chess Social!!
On April 26th, several South Pasadena streets will be closed down “block party style”, to make room for an additional twelve stages, artist showcases, vendors, food & drink pop-ups!! Everything is completely free!
The Chess Social will be managing one of these stages, located on the lower floor of Griffins of Kinsale. This will be the rough epicenter of this yearly free event.
We will be hosting an “open house” from 6pm-8pm, with open chess play, a simul with National Master Karl Tolentino, and plenty of excellent live music acts!
We encourage you to come a bit early and explore the free festival before joining us downstairs for some friendly and riveting chess games!!
