Down by the Bay

An intimate evening of stories and songs awaits in the charming St. Peter’s Courthouse Theatre. PEI’s Poet Laureate Tanya Davis hosts “Down by the Bay”. A writer, poet, and songwriter, Tanya is a true multi-faceted creative who has appeared at folk festivals and events from Australia to home. This show features two acts brand new to Small Halls. London, Ontario based group The Pairs bring soft, folky sibling harmonies and familial banter to the stage. Favorites on Canadian folk festival and international stages, they’re gearing up for their fourth studio album release. This delightful trio will pull you in with their sweet, sweet, sounds. Music lives on in the family of Ontario indie songstress Georgia Harmer. The niece of celebrated Canadian artist Sarah Harmer, Georgia has developed a singular sound of her own, from intimate folk to pop-kissed rock. She’s toured alongside acts like Tim Baker, City And Colour, Broken Social Scene and more.
