AAASRC Annual Awards Banquet

AAASRC's Annual Awards Banquet will begin with a cocktail hour in the courtyard at 5:00 pm. At 6:00 pm the gathering will move indoors and dinner will be served.

Professor and North Hall Chair of Black Studies Sabrina Strings (UC Santa Barbara), has confirmed her Teshome H. Gabriel keynote address on “The End of Love.” A book signing will be held on the Faculty Club Patio during the cocktail hour.

Awards will be presented to UCSD Faculty, Staff, and Students recognizing their contributions to African Studies at UCSD.
