Nature Journaling Hike at Montini Open Space Preserve

Join Sonoma Ecology Center and Sonoma County Ag + Open Space for a summer morning in awe of nature and expanding self-discovery! Hike Sonoma Valley's Montini Open Space Preserve and learn from locally renowned nature journalist Sarah Reid. Whether you're an avid hiker, artist or just a nature enthusiast, you'll have the chance to use your senses to tune into the local flora, fauna and geography of the land. We will hone and develop new tools as you practice the art and science of recording with drawn images and creative note taking. Experimenting with a few nature apps for the smartphone rounds out the wander in the wild. No experience necessary—just bring your natural curiosity and creativity!
