The August Community Meeting will be held at the normal time and location, 6PM at the Fairgrounds.
Topics to include:
1. Final Fair Prep and Notes
2. CLOTHING AND GEAR EXCHANGE: If you have 4H attire or equipment that you no longer need, that is in presentable and working order, please bring it to share with someone else who may be in need. Neckties, pants, boots, crops, shirts, etc.
3. CREED CONTEST: AFTER the meeting we will hold the Creed Contest. Participants will be assessed based on their knowledge of the creed, recitation of the creed, speaking ability and presence, and an additional question or two regarding what their participation in 4H means to them and why. The only requirement to participate in the contest is to attend the next meeting in formal 4H attire (the same as the fair). There will be prizes for the winner(s).
4. Barn Duty Sign Up Reminder: All fair showers are required to conduct barn duty for 2 hours throughout the fair. Link and details to follow
5. Fair Setup: Fair setup days will be announced, participation is mandatory
6. Reminder that the end of season party will be held in October, tentatively at The Cove in Sierra Vista on a Saturday early evening
