Somatic Therapy for Queer Self Care with Monia

Join Monia (she/they) for an exploration of embracing self care and nervous system regulation. This workshop offers practices that help aid a deeper connection to you as an individual while also weaving in intersectional identities. Queer Self Care speaks to the understanding that our beings are complex and different parts of our bodies, minds, energies need different care in relation to our internal and external experience. Together we’ll use practices like pranayama (breath-work), vinyasa (yoga movement with breath) and journaling to ground and connect. For this workshop, please bring journals, art supplies, water or tea, snacks, fidget items or anything you feel will help you integrate your internal and external being. Learn more about Monia here.
