Pause The Message Suicide Intervention Support Group

Next Monday at 5 PM, my first support group will begin here! Southern Branch Library in Solomon's. It's available for everyone. The reason why I'm starting this, is to create a space where people can share their stories, or listen to others, and gain insight, or a new perspective. I learned from experience what happens when I have the chance to tell others about surviving suicide, what I learned, etc...positive things happened!!

My hope is to create a community of support and add one additional leg of support for people to connect and understand that an incorrect thought can mislead someone and tell them, "you're alone, and frankly the world is better off without you " so, it's my intention to show someone in person, you're not alone and we care. I'll have resources available, so, if you're free, come out and hear my message and join us and be a support for someone, or be a support for someone else.
