We invite you to a workshop on telling personal stories - “the story of Me”. Born out of exploring the high impact of metaphors and letting yourself be known through telling stories, the workshop will take us on a journey of discovering our main heroes, obstacles, goals, and connections around us. Combining storytelling, visual art, meditative, and somatic techniques, we will dive into the world of personal tales, symbols, and their meaning in our lives.
We start after lunch, at 14:00, and since the venue is just next to the Vitosha mountains, it is possible to take a refreshing morning hike before! Location itself has a beautiful garden and we will mix staying indoors and outdoors, according to the needs of the group, so don’t be worried about being locked in on a sunny summer Sunday :)
The workshop is not a therapeutic practice, though telling stories can influence us and others. Coorganized as a cooperation of InnerArtive and Creatosphere.
The workshop will be led by Kris Filipiuk and Vania Kurshumova.
Vania considers herself as one walking the Path ot the Artist though the materials she works with are intra- interpersonal relationships and life itself. Her background in psychology, philology, and years of experience in working with children and recently with adults motivated her to continue exploring, learning and sharing.. She is also a passionate follower and practitioner of Nonviolent Communication.
Kris is a creativity and organizational coach, exploring expressive arts as a way of fostering deeper connection with self and others. Combines the background in non-formal education, NGO work, business trainings, with experience in the corporate and startup world. Active in the art community in the sphere of music (Emberlane, maudition projects), and smaller parts in various different arts like theater and visual arts.
