As leaders and volunteers at LifeHouse one of the responsibilities we all share is doing our best to ensure the safety of those who join us for worship, fellowship and various other opportunities. While we often see this as solely the responsibility of our Security Team, in fact they can’t do it alone. Greeters, ushers,
teachers, nursery volunteers. etc., in short all of us in leadership or serving roles play a vital role in providing a safe environment for all and unfortunately, churches are not exempt from potentially
dangerous individuals and situations. In order to help us be better prepared for certain situations, we are encouraging all leaders and volunteers to join our upcoming safety training.
SafeWrap is a lateral restraint system developed by Gracie University to safely control high-stress situations with compassion and effectiveness.
You must attend both classes to be certified for SafeWrap. The training classes will be at Gracie Jiu Jitsu Smyrna, 139 Pier Head Blvd in Smyrna, on September 14th and September 28th from 1:00 PM-5:00 PM.
