Join us for a weekend of purpose and play in the stunning alpine landscape of Piq Kilawna, nestled between Kaslo and New Denver along the wildlife corridor of HWY 31A.
Together, we’ll explore the intersection of deep ecology, mindfulness, authentic relating, and movement in a landscape that invites both awe and inspiration.
🏔 The Setting
We’ll gather at The Eastern Sun Sanctuary (1,250m elevation), a beautiful off-grid haven surrounded by old-growth forest and mountain vistas. Thanks to Dustin for opening this special space to us!
Enjoy access to a communal indoor area, woodstove, kitchen, and a SAUNA, perfect for unwinding after time spent outdoors. Expect to use skis or snowshoes as your main mode of travel as we explore the surrounding winter wonderland.

Over the weekend, you’ll experience:
-Guided meditations and mindfulness practices
-Movement, play/games, and authentic connection activities
-Time for rest, reflection, and forest connection
-Shared meals and cozy evenings by the fire
This gathering is designed to be a balance of stillness and aliveness — a space to reconnect with nature, yourself, and community.
🍲 Accommodation & Food
Your registration includes two nights of shared accommodations at the Eastern Sun Temple and all group activities.
Please bring your own sleeping gear (or borrow upon request).
Food will be partially provided — we ask participants to pack their own lunches and bring a potluck contribution to share. More details to come!
❄️ Important Notes
The hike from the highway parking lot to the Sanctuary is about 45-60 minutes (remain flexible as we will travel as a group).
Touring gear and/or snowshoes are required to reach basecamp and participate. We’ll have systems in place to help transport some gear in (food, bedding, etc.)
We will NOT be traveling through avalanche terrain. Furthermore, each participant is responsible for their own personal safety and decision-making.
