"Yeats and Dreams" lecture by Fran Brearton

Join Professor Fran Brearton of Queen’s University Belfast for an illuminating exploration of “Yeats and Dreams.”
In this talk, Professor Brearton invites us into the dreamscapes that permeate Yeats’s poetry, where the unconscious mingles with myth, memory, the Otherworld and how dreams shaped Yeats’s poetic imagination and literary form.

Fran Brearton is a Professor of Modern Poetry at Queens University Belfast. Her books include 'The Great War in Irish Poetry' (2000) and as co-editor, 'The Oxford Handbook of Modern Irish Poetry' (2012) and 'Incorrigibly Plural: Louis MacNeice and his legacy' (2012)
She was elected to The Royal Irish Academy in 2018
