The 4th Annual Playground Stage Summer Family Musical, will present ¨The Wizard of Oz¨ August 1st & 2nd at the TC Roberson High School Theater. General admission tickets are available in advance online for a minimum suggestion donation of $15/ticket. Tickets at the door are “Donate What You Wish”. Performances will be Friday, Aug. 1st, at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 2nd at 1 p.m. This is a family friendly show, all are welcome.
Ticket sales help fund Playground Stage's Educational programs. In order to make our programs accessible to all children in our area we rely on generous donors who support our mission and make it possible for all family to participate regardless of ability to pay. Playground Stage is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization. All donations are taxed deductible.

The Royal Shakespeare Company's version of The Wizard of Oz is a stage adaptation that closely follows the plot and songs of the classic 1939 film. The story follows Dorothy Gale, a young girl from Kansas, who is swept away by a tornado to the magical Land of Oz. To return home, she journeys to the Emerald City to seek the help of the Wizard of Oz, accompanied by her new friends: the Scarecrow, the Tinman, and the Cowardly Lion. Along the way, they encounter the Wicked Witch of the West, who tries to stop them, and must learn the importance of courage, heart, and wisdom.
