Kayak-A-Thon

Join us for a race around five of the six lakes in Belvidere Township!
The Montcalm Conservation District is hosting a fundraiser in support of the Flat River Watershed Council (FRWC). This event requires pre-registration to be completed either online or via snail mail with the $20 registration fee and a minimum of three pledge donations to be paid on the date of the event using CASH ONLY! The FRWC Kayak-a-thon is a BYOG (Bring your own gear) event.
Prizes will be awarded to the first-place finisher and the participant who raises the most money! There will be light refreshments and lawn games to play.
The FRWC is a nonprofit whose purpose is to protect, enhance, and maintain land and water quality, and other natural resources in the Flat River Watershed. This fundraiser will help cover the cost of conducting hands-on conservation activities and education / outreach in the Flat River Watershed, such as invasive species removal and native plantings.

Please arrive by or before 8:30 a.m., so we may start the race as close to 9 as possible.
