Beautification Through Clean-Up
Whittier Residents Association – 2025
We are hosting four flyer canvassing and four neighborhood clean-ups events this summer — and we need your help for each event.
Upcoming Dates:
1. First Clean-Up in partnership with Faith Lutheran Church
Clean-Up: Saturday, May 31st, 2025 from 9:00 AM to noon.*COMPLETE 2,480 LBS REMOVED!
2. Second Clean-Up in partnership with St. Francis House
Clean-Up: Saturday, June 14th, 2025 from 9:00 AM to noon COMPLETE* 7,473 LBS REMOVED
3. Third Clean up: WRA Officers
Canvassing: Sunday, June 29th, 2025 6:00 PM till done Meet at 733 N Highland Ave, (corner of East 2nd Street and Highland Ave)
Clean-Up: Saturday, July 19th, 2025 from 9:00 AM to noon
Volunteers needed for set-up and support during clean-up, gear provided.
4. Fourth and final clean-up – Neighbors choice!
VOTE BY JULY 31ST
Canvassing: Saturday, August 2nd, 2025 12:00 PM till done
Clean-Up: Saturday, August 23rd, 2025
Location will be chosen by community vote — stay tuned!
Important Notes:
These clean-ups are self-service for ONE day only.
Get ready in advance or ask someone to help you.
Note: This is NOT affiliated with Project N.I.C.E./K.E.E.P. run by the city. Do not leave items on the curb, no one will pick them up.
No regular household trash. Only large, approved items will be accepted. No lawn clippings/bags
