Students will add to their knowledge of techniques by refining their wheel-throwing and glazing methods. Your instructor will use demonstrations, critiques, and encouragement to further your skills in pottery. Open to students proficient in wedging, centering, and confidently throwing a cylinder.
Tuition includes the use of equipment, tools, 25 lbs of clay, glazes, firings, and open studio access for the duration of the course (Fridays, 2:00 – 4:00 pm & Saturdays, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm).
If you are a beginner, please wait to register for a beginner's class. Your teacher and other students appreciate you registering for the correct skill level. This is an intermediate and advanced-level course. If you are not sure if this is the right class for you, please get in touch with the Art Center.
