You are welcome to join Alicia's contemporary dance classes for beginners/intermediate every Thursday at 18h at Danscentrumjette. We will work on learning the basics of RHMethod in slowness and depth as well as floor work exercises - advancing every week towards development of material. The idea of this serie of classes is to share with you principles, exercises and explorations through which you gain awareness about your body as well as enjoy dancing and sharing the space with others.

Alicia Motta approached contemporary dance in 2006 taking lessons with different teachers, notably with Alejandra Tillar in Mendoza, disciple of Isolde Klietmann. She studied visual arts at the UNCuyo university, where she became a founding member of an art collective making political urban interventions. In parallel she joined a contemporary dance collective “Colectivo Rojo Libre” from 2008 to 2014 creating various dance pieces and doing urban interventions as well. Throughout her multidisciplinary parkour she also trained in clown, neutral mask, object’s theater: creative skills for composition. In 2018 she moved to Belgium and joined the Formation at DCJ with several high professionals teachers and dancers, and followed the dance methods of Roxane Huilmand.

There are still spots available for this class and you can still join for a tryout. Our evening classes run by trimesters or year subscriptions.
