We will host our second 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 & 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 in 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿
—an evening dedicated to conversations and reflection, all shared over a meal.
𝗜𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻? 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 𝘪𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘥.
We ease down into the evening by sharing food and light thoughts with people we may or may not know sitting next to us. Following the meal, 𝗝𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗕𝗲𝗻 𝗬𝗮𝗸𝗼𝘂𝗯 and 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗮𝗵 𝗔𝗯𝗱𝗼𝘂 will join us for a talk, diving deeper into the topic.
This edition of 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 holds space for the 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁, an open, collaborative platform working to archive the overlooked histories of the Maghrebi and Black diasporas in Belgium. Together with 𝗝𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗺 and 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗮𝗵, both active within the project, we'll explore what it means to remember through sound, to archive with care, and to reimagine what gets called "history."
