NTU Alumni Chinese Orchestra (NTUACO) proudly presents our first-ever concert, The Inaugural Bloom: A Tapestry of Tones |
Celebrate our reunion and the start of a new chapter on this special day where cherished friendships and musical passions bloom anew. As we gather again as alumni of NTU Chinese Orchestra (NTUCO), we weave together a vibrant tapestry of tones - each melody a thread of shared memory and renewed ambition.
The concert will be starting off with “Aspirations” by Wang Chenwei, expressing our hopes for the orchestra. Wen Zhanli’s piece, “Endless River Flows”, a dizi concerto presented by Luo Wenyu explores the inner world of riverside communities who have lived with floods since ancient times - people deeply aware of the river’s ruthlessness, yet refusing to be mere drifters swayed by its currents. This is deeply similar as we reflect on the arduous route we took - our bumpy yet meaningful road to our founding. We also spell out our wishes for the future as we journey through a diverse soundscape with other classical Chinese orchestra pieces. The night concludes with “Variation of Emotion - Movement 3”, a poignant and powerful finale that promises an exciting future for our orchestra.
NTUACO was founded with the purpose of continuing our alumni's passion towards Chinese music, whilst creating more performance opportunities, promoting the legacy and growth of Chinese music culture. On this momentous evening, join us and be a part of witnessing a major milestone in the beginning of our journey as our collective passion takes flight.
南大校友华乐团 (NTUACO) 荣誉呈献创团首场音乐会:初绽之乐:始奏华章 | The Inaugural Bloom: A Tapestry of Tones。
