Yan Huichang and SCO’s concert met with rousing acclaim last season. Maestro Yan returns with more of his beloved range of iconic pieces made famous by HKCO. He will be premiering "Tang Resonating", written by Hong Kong composer Ng Cheuk Yin in Singapore. SCO Pipa Principal Yu Jia will also play Zhao Jiping’s "Pipa Concerto No. 2".

上个乐季，阎惠昌大师与华乐团的音乐会轰动狮城，在新乐季，阎大师将会严选多部佳作以飨乐友，其中他将首次与华乐团合演香港作曲家伍卓贤的《唐响》，并与琵琶首席俞嘉呈献赵季平大师的《第二琵琶协奏曲》。
