Prayer Circle for the youth of Simi valley

Feeling really sad and disheartened today. I moved to Simi two years ago. And have felt very embraced by this community. I never think twice about letting my children walk to Starbucks or the movies. I need to say that I know the Holy Spirit is here in Simi Valley. I have seen it with my own eyes. Last night I was at lemon Park playing basketball with my son. A group of about 10 teenagers came out of their car laughing and my immediate thought was oh no what’s gonna happen. They just started playing a little bit of volleyball and basketball on the courts. Then two black men came out of their car. I don’t know why I was worried. They immediately came together and started a prayer circle. I was blown away.

Last Wednesday right outside of Yogurtland was a group of young people having fellowship after a worship night. Only to be followed several days later by an act of hate and ugliness by young people who so desperately need Jesus.

Tonight at the regal fountain, I would like to start a prayer circle. Anyone who would like to join in. I will be there at 6:30 with my family. The only one that can change hearts is Jesus. The only one that can redeem hearts is Jesus. The only one that can heal hearts is Jesus.
