Back for the second year in a row, we are holding the Swiftie Song Circle at the Simcoe Heritage Friendship Festival! It was a HIT last year, and we thought it would be fun to do it again!
With such an expansive discography, there is much room to be left for creatively styling her songs in our own ways. We’re excited to do it again this year!
An intro to each of our performers!
✨HOST: Hannah Dolson✨
Hannah Dolson is a 27 year old singer, born and raised in Simcoe, Ontario. While she sometimes fronts a rock band, she heavily contrasts this in her solo live performances, where she vintagely-stylizes covers of both classic, and new songs alike. While she holds her own playing at breweries, wineries, and other local hubs — she’s played at several local festivals in the past; including the Fairgrounds Festival, Birdtown Jamboree, Port Dover’s Art in the Park, and the Simcoe Heritage Friendship Festival. As always, she’s excited to tug some heart strings, and tickle some ivories for everyone; see you on the stage!
✨ Mac Buchwald ✨
Mac is a lifetime Norfolk County resident who has been entertaining with his music for over 10 years. More recently, Mac has had the opportunity to share his talents on stage, starring in Lighthouse Festival’s The Producers (2024) and Simcoe Little Theatre’s Little Shop of Horrors (2025). Mac is beyond excited to be participating in Friendship Fest this year and hoping that you will stop by for a song or two!
✨Jessica Rayner✨
Jess Rayner is a singer-songwriter local to Norfolk County. She loves to showcase songs with detailed storytelling that paint vivid pictures for her listeners, through covers and her own original work. While she pulls inspiration from just about any style of music, her solo style is highly influenced by folk music, new and old. And, as a wearer of many hats, Jess moonlights as a music instructor at Art With Heart Studio & lead singer for Honey Static, a modern rock band here in Norfolk. While she isn't a Swiftie, she's excited to be diving into Taylor Swift's vast world of songs once again!
✨Mike Matthews✨
Born and raised in Norfolk County, Silver Hill. He joined the music scene later on in his journey with an influence of classic country, rock, and blues. Paying homage to the music he was raised listening to as a child. He’s excited to be apart of the Friendship Festival, and to be able to share the music that influenced his musical aspirations today.
We will be on the community stage (east side of the park) from 12pm-1:30pm!
Bring your friendship bracelets, and your sing a long voices! We’re ready for it!🪩🪩🪩
